Why should you have photobooth at your wedding

Some reasons why you should have photobooth at your wedding:

1. It's a source of entertainment. Having a few "stations" or things to do at your reception can be a good way to keep guests engaged. It's also a great way for people who haven't met yet to strike up conversations.

2.It helps create a wedding favor. For you as much as your guests. Sure, some guests having a few new pictures of themselves, but even if they don't care about that, you will love having pictures of your guests (especially because what's in the pictures will probably be a fun surprise to you a few weeks after the wedding). If you think of it less like a party favor and more like a guest book, there's really no reason to skip it just because your guests may have seen it before.

3. Every photo booth is different. Even if your guests have been to five weddings with photo booths, they haven't been to your wedding with a photo booth. The vibe at every wedding is so different and things like the time of day to the crowd to how strong the bartender is making drinks can have a big effect on how the photos turn out. But the simple fact that the guest list is different at each wedding means the photo booth photos will be different at each wedding. Maybe people are over taking pictures with their dates, but they would love a chance to take silly pics with old friends or relatives who they haven't seen at all those other weddings.

4. Just because a wedding trend is ubiquitous doesn't mean it has to be abandoned. If you're counting on your photo booth to be the coolest thing ever that none of your guests have ever seen before, you may need a reality check. But if you're just adding it to the list of popular wedding details that you happen to like and choose to have, who cares if it's been done before? Some elements of your wedding will be personalized and unique, but plenty of others will be part of bigger traditions that started out as hip trends before becoming ubiquitous. But don't skip out on the things you really like or really want to do just because they've been done before.
